---- ===== Rossin ===== Rossin Bikes was born on Sept 14, 1974 to supply the GBC/Itla Racing Team with bikes made by Marco Rossin, previously of Colnago((Details from the Rossin web archive: rossinbikes.it)). Rossin sold the first Italian made mountain bicycle((Bianchi was the first to put an Italian name on a mountain bike in 1983, but theirs were made in Japan.)). Rossin was also the first to introduce bike computers (1980,) and disc wheels (1983.) They //apparently// continue to sell road bikes at: https://rossinbikes.com/, but it's likely the brand is dead and they are selling leftovers, if they're selling anything at all. 1991 appears to be the last year Rossin made mountain bikes. \\
Sr. Garbelli's personal fascination with American Mountain bikes motiviated him to begin devloping a Rossin Mountain bike. The Marathon Mountain bike was developed by Rossin for the 1981 Milan International Cycle Show. 1988 Rossin Catalog bikalog.org
The earliest pic of a Rossin mt. bike is 1983. The latest is 1990. Despite their relative rarity, there are many pictures to found found - probably because they're very photogenic.
