===== Takara Bicyles =====
The Takara Group was formed in Oklahoma City around 1973 by Bob Moore and Lee Connor to import bicycles made by [[kuwahara:start|Kuwahara]] into the US. The brand folded in the mid-late 1980's and apparently has been reanimated by [[https://kent.bike/|Kent International]].((Kent, a long time family owned business, is the 2nd largest manufacterer of bicycles in the US.
