-Upon reflection - and having another look at the drillium chainrings, it seems very unlikely that this was a production model.  More of a prototype perhaps, or someone's pet project.  Plushow did they put freewheel onto a internal hub?  That suggests that this isn't someone's garage project.  Machine tools were needed.  Today, we have weird products like the [[https://www.classified-cycling.cc/powershift-technology|Powershift Hub]], for $2800.  The Burdet remains a puzzle.+Upon reflection - and having another look at the drillium chainrings, it seems very unlikely that this was a production model.  More of a prototype perhaps, or someone's pet project.  The hybrid hub is a Sachs Orbit HT (1980+)which was rare and pricey option.  Great gear range.  The Liberia Burdet is a puzzle.
