Rossin

Rossin Bikes was born on Sept 14, 1974 to supply the GBC/Itla Racing Team with bikes made by Marco Rossin, previously of Colnago1). Rossin sold the first Italian made mountain bicycle2). Rossin was also the first to introduce bike computers (1980,) and disc wheels (1983.) They apparently continue to sell road bikes at: https://rossinbikes.com/, but it's likely the brand is dead and they are selling leftovers, if they're selling anything at all. 1991 appears to be the last year Rossin made mountain bikes.

Sr. Garbelli's personal fascination with American Mountain bikes motiviated him to begin devloping a Rossin Mountain bike. The Marathon Mountain bike was developed by Rossin for the 1981 Milan International Cycle Show. 1988 Rossin Catalog bikalog.org

The earliest pic of a Rossin mt. bike is 1983. The latest is 1990. Despite their relative rarity, there are many pictures to found found - probably because they're very photogenic.
